Upcoming Events  The Great Gladstone Gala 2011 The organising committee has already had its first meeting and we would welcome ideas from any/all of you on what GREAT ideas, foods, rides, contributions or things we could include in our next GLORIOUS Gala.   SO we have put a suggestion box in the office for you to post details of your fabulous suggestions and we look forward to working with you to make it happen. PTA Minutes Meeting Minutes August 2010 Meeting Minutes June 2010 PTA Gladrags Gladrags is the PTA newsletter that is published several times a year. It is a quick update on what the PTA have been up to lately and what is coming up. If the copy of Gladrags here is out of date please contact the Chairperson for an up to date copy. Who are we? We are currently a small group, which includes parents, a teacher rep & the principal:   Pip Llewellyn Mob: 021 802 302 (Chair) Chris Judd (Deputy Chair) Tracey Taylor (Secretary) Rochelle Saunders (Treasurer)     Barbara MacPherson  Dave Shadbolt           What we do Our role is primarily (but not limited to) fundraising for all those extras the school receives no funding for.  This has included Mimio boards, an outdoor chess set, new sports gear, classroom resources,  pool solar heating & shade sails, to mention a few.   We meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, 7.30pm in the staff room.   The future Anyone can attend meetings & we welcome new members and ‘Friends’ of the PTA.     It doesn’t require a huge time commitment or have to be during school hours.  It’s whatever you would like to give.  This could range from selling lollies at a disco to cooking sausages to collating notices.  Ultimately it all benefits our kids.  Also we welcome any feedback or suggestions for the way forward so please just let us know.
